Who says this show has a Mac bias? In today’s episode of PreviewCast, not only can we not shut up about Windows (to Larry’s annoyance), but Douglas proposes a boycott of Apple and seriously considers abandoning his dream MacBook Pro for a Dell! Woah!
Blendtec is blending up Valentine’s Day, meanwhile the Colts won the Super Bowl and Douglas unnecessarily abused Twitter. Steve Jobs spanks DRM and the record companies, and Apple Inc. and the Beatles kiss (eww!) and make up. Larry shares why he hates the iPhone, and we take a brief look at some of the stupidly-simple cell phones on the grey market. Meanwhile, Douglas is completely fuming about the recent comments Steve Jobs made about public education and teacher unions, but Larry can’t stop teasing him about it. So what’s the point of the iPod shuffle now out in colors…we don’t like Apple anymore anyway, right? Vista Home Basic and Home Premium are no-nos on Parallels according to the EULA. That won’t stop you from installing them, though. In the meantime, today’s PreviewCast Central Roast is Carl Kruger, the New York State Senator introducing legislation to ban iPods on the streets of New York. Caitlyn reviews her now-discontinued JBL Encounters Speakers, and Douglas reviews iClip 4. And, of course, Larry takes every possible opportunity to insult Douglas like crazy.
All this and more on this episode of PreviewCast!

We WERE thinking of doing an ep this weekend, but it was Super Sunday, and so we all decided that we’d rather watch the game with our families. Larry watched the game with his family rooting for the Colts (I don’t know why), Skoker watched the game on and off with a friend rooting for the Bears, I watched the game with my brother rooting for the Bears, and while I watched I Twittered, ate deep-fried pickle hearts, and continually tried to clear out my stuffed nose. (Yes, I’m sick.) And I don’t know who Robert was rooting for, but he went out hunting this weekend.
Aaaaand, the Colts won. Which sucks, in my opinion. But Larry and I can argue about that next week.
Anyway, the point is that we decided not to record PreviewCast this week, and I’m sure you’ll forgive us. There’s probably a pretty high chance that you watched the Stuper Bowl too. And there was no Apple ad (Ha ha, I knew it!). Yet Budweiser had people slapping each other in the face, playing rock-paper-scissors, and being bowed down to by a beach full of crabs.
Okay, enough of this rant. See you all next week.
